Sessions are conducted in-person or by video. I want you to feel comfortable wherever I work with you. Regardless of how sessions are connected, my warmth and compassion create a supportive space where you can feel seen, heard, and valued.
I work collaboratively with you to help you reclaim and embrace your life. With a trauma-informed, person-centered approach, I help you explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, increasing your self-awareness to bring about positive change. These can be “aha moments” in session where you see how an old pattern is holding you back in your current life. From there, new skills and tools are taught to help you move past these blocks and integrate and accept all aspects of self. This can result in you moving forward with more self-confidence and self-compassion.
From understanding yourself better, healing unresolved issues, processing grief, setting boundaries, approaching a situation with more flexibility, and/or learning news tools and skills, I support you towards your goals. I believe in your ability to grow and take steps towards the life you truly want to live.
I was a Naturopathic Doctor specializing in Biofeedback and Mindfulness training, and I bring my experience in mind-body medicine into my current practice. I am knowledgeable about the impact stress, anxiety and trauma have on the nervous system and offers psychoeducation, insight, and tools to help you regulate and calm your nervous system to decrease overall stress.
My integrative approach is client driven. By understanding your views, culture and lived experiences, I support and empower you to positively transform your lives.
